Finally we have a resource of all the wonderful Lebanese foods we've always wanted to make, but haven't been able to find the right recipes to use. Thank you for making this book and putting so much love and care into each recipe, picture and story. I highly recommend trying at least one recipe and then judging for yourself. This book is fantastic!!
I LOVE My Mother’s Table Cookbook. I have 7 Lebanese cookbooks and this is by far the best. I recommend this cookbook for novice cooks and gourmets alike. I’ve been cooking Lebanese cuisine for years but veered away from some recipes that seemed too difficult, until now. With My Mother’s Table, I tackled jibni with ease and success. The variations to recipes are an exciting new way to try a classic favorite (like za’tar biscuits) The contemporary ways to present classic recipes are perfect for holiday and family gatherings. I especially like the mini desserts, layered hummus dip and the rolled-up pita sandwiches. I also enjoy the pieces of history and fun facts with each recipe. My Mother’s Table is a great gift for those who like to cook or eat Lebanese food.
I endorse this wonderful book. I have enjoyed these recipes for 20 years and many for 50 years :)
